Our story
Where this came from
SYNTHESIS CYBER started because the same conversation kept happening. Someone would lose an account, or get scammed, or find out a stranger had been reading their messages, and the advice they received afterwards was either too vague to act on or assumed a level of technical fluency they did not have.
The tools that exist are usually built for one narrow job. A password manager does not tell you how to recognise the message that will get you to hand over your code anyway. A VPN does not help you document harassment in a way a platform will act on. The gap is not a missing feature — it is the absence of somewhere that treats all of it as one problem.
So we are building a workspace: encrypted storage for the things that must stay private, practical tools for the checks people actually need to make, and education that explains why, in language that does not require a background in the field.

What we hold to
We would rather be honest than impressive
No claim of guaranteed security, no fear-based marketing, and a clear statement of what each tool cannot do. If we cannot recover your data, we say so before you rely on us.
Privacy is architecture, not a policy page
Vault content is encrypted before it leaves your device. We hold ciphertext because a promise not to look is weaker than an inability to.
Usable beats theoretically perfect
A security measure people abandon protects nobody. We optimise for the strongest thing someone will actually keep doing.
Subscriptions, not surveillance
We are funded by people paying for a product. There is no advertising, no data sale, and no third party whose interests compete with yours.
