Requesting deletion
Account deletion is self-service in Settings, Account. It requires re-authentication and an explicit confirmation because it cannot be undone after the grace period.
The sequence
- Immediately: all sessions are revoked and sign-in is disabled.
- Days 1 to 30: the account is recoverable by contacting support from the registered address. Data is not visible to anyone in this window.
- Day 30: account records, encrypted content, files, and personal fields in logs are permanently deleted from primary systems.
- Day 65: backups containing the data have aged out of the rolling retention window.
What survives deletion
Invoices and tax records are retained for the statutory period. Audit entries are retained but pseudonymised so the action remains traceable without identifying you. Aggregated analytics containing no identifiers are unaffected.
Export first
Run a data export before deleting. Encrypted content is exported in a form you can decrypt with your key; once deleted, we cannot reproduce it.
